DAVIDE PUNZI

SHIATSU PRACTITIONER

Davide began his journey into the world of movement, discipline, and holistic wellbeing in 2009, training in Kung Fu while pursuing his university studies in Rome, Italy. He immersed himself in the depth and philosophy of this ancient martial art, eventually earning the title of Master.

Driven by a desire to support the body beyond movement, Davide expanded his expertise into therapeutic practice. In 2016, he began formal training in Shiatsu at the Rome branch of the renowned Shiatsu Do Academy, established by Japanese Master Yuji Yahiro in 1970. Davide qualified as a Shiatsu practitioner in 2020, blending traditional Japanese healing principles with his deep understanding of the human body.

While completing his studies, Davide was entrusted to treat his own Kung Fu students, helping them recover from muscle tension, joint discomfort, and physical strain.

What began as support within his martial arts community soon grew into a broader practice. After completing his studies in 2020, Davide helped private clients in Rome at Dea 2.2 Dance and Arts Centre with his Shiatsu treatments for relief and restoration.

In 2024, Davide brought his passion and expertise to Australia, continuing his professional development while offering personalised Shiatsu treatments. Today, he combines the precision of martial arts with the sensitivity of hands-on therapy to help clients restore balance, ease pain, and reconnect with their bodies.
